Private ferieboliger i Star Tannery

"This property truly exceeded our expectations. The grounds are huge and beautiful...you could spend hours just relaxing particularly in the swinging 'egg chairs'! Distance from Front Royal was just perfect at 10 to 15 minutes. The real surprise though was the size of the cottage. With a party of 4, including 2 older teenagers, 2 bedrooms and 1 bath can run a bit small. The common living space...living room and kitchen in particular...are very spacious. While we only had 2 nights this trip, I...

"This house was perfect for our girls’ getaway! There were seven of us plus our two dogs, and the space was beautiful, comfortable, and so accommodating for everyone (including the dogs!)!!We loved exploring the nearby hikes, including a trail close to the house that was perfect for a morning walk. The location was convenient to downtown and Shenandoah, which was such a great place to explore. Coming back to relax in the hot tub and sauna made the weekend even better! We also loved the...

"Very cute and clean home. The location was great and Vanessa was awesome to work with"

"Wow, we can’t say enough about this spot. Private, beautiful, comfortable, great location, well stocked. All you could want for a romantic getaway (but there is also room to bring the kids if you wanted to! But you won’t want to once you see it!) Communication great. Absolutely no notes: 5/5! (We did pick up a tick hiking…please make sure you do a thorough check.)"

"Definitely stay beautiful surroundings house is extremely clean and comfortable has everything you need Thank you again to the hosts we will be back for another visits Ps love the cat"

"spacious property"

"We had a wonderful stay! I can tell that the owner Matthew is a thoughtful person with a great taste of design from the way he furnished and equipped the house. We had a little trouble with the door code when we arrived around 10:20 p.m., but he responded to our message immediately. Thank you so much!I would definitely stay here again if I visit Shenandoah National Park in the future!"

"This was the perfect stay! Would definitely stay again sometime!"

"Ten stars! Circle F was as described and so much more! It was extremely clean and supplied with everything needed for our stay and more. Sarah and Dale came up on horseback to feed the sheep & even offered to make us a fire in the fire pit, which was encircled by Adirondack chairs for the ultimate view of the Allegheny mountains. It is such a cool place on the top of a mountain! We will definitely go back there!"

"Upon arrival there was a couch sitting on the walkway to the front door with a "Free" sign on it. There was no manual explaining: 1) The use of portable heaters or baseboard heaters2) Things to do upon entering or leaving2) Local attractions4) Emergency contact informationDid find a single sheet under the silverware tray in a drawer the next morning. It did contain a few of the above items.Dirty pancake turners, still had dried egg on them. We had to buy several pans and skillets because there...

"This was a great location very close to the Shenandoah Skyline Drive entrance and all that the park and river had to offer. For us it was hiking and tubing. The place was peaceful as we walked our dogs in the AM, and the area neighbors were very friendly. The house was a perfect size for my family of 5 and 3 dogs. If you stay at this location i recommend bringing extra towels, and extra paper towels. I would have liked to see a pet gate for the deck considering the yard fencing is not closed...

"Wonderful stay and host was prompt with responses. Beautiful views from all around!"

"We once again enjoyed the cozy comfort of the cottage. It was cold outside but very comfortable inside. "

"The property is very private on an amazing lot. The house is also only 20min from Shenandoah park. The house had a hot tub, fire pit, and new finished basement that we all enjoyed."
