"I couldn’t get the tv to go to just regular channels. There needs to be an explanation as to how it works so that people like me who are technologically challenged can use it. It also said to get in touch with front desk if any issues but there is nothing on the phone to let you do that so you have to get dressed and actually go to the front desk"

"The staff were amazing and really helpful. The room was clean but there was the odd stain here and there but nothing to write home about and difficult to remove. Parking was great and you could enter the hotel from numerous entries with your room key. The attached restaurant was great too, served a mean breakfast, although on the first night we were informed we got a discount for eating food there, I don't think we ever did despite mentioning a few times, luckily it was reasonably priced. "My close friends and I had a wonderful stay at the cabin over Thanksgiving weekend. There were enough beds for our group and the facilities ensured we enjoyed home comforts while also living up to promises of quiet and solitude in nature. We had long chats by the fire by night and hiked in the surrounding Backus conservation area by day. We will definitely be back in the future! "
