"The property was just as expected. It was clean and the area felt safe. It was nice to have free parking onsite. The pool was a salt water pool as others stated and wasn’t the warmest but the kids didn’t mind. The breakfast was great. Every staff member we encountered was extremely nice, helpful, and caring. "

"This will be our #1 choice for return trips. Hotel was going through a change over process to Hotel Indigo. Expedia needs to update the name to Hotel Indigo as it was very confusing trying to find Holiday Inn where there wasn’t one. But we called the front desk and they were very friendly and helped us get where we needed to be. "Unfriendly staff answering several phone calls in the middle of check-in in spite of a long line of people waiting late at night.
Instead of just pre-authorizing the security deposit, they insisted on charging it and paying it back meaning that – as a tourist – I got to pay a currency conversion rate twice for something I shouldn’t pay for."
"There was a human that checked us in! He reminded us about their breakfast and evening kick-back, which are free to guests staying; has option for outsiders to pay for the same meal. So if you've got family visiting at the hotel they can eat with you and just have to pay for their meal. Excellent breakfast! I did see the kick-back and it looked good but I had already eaten a late lunch. We would definitely stay here again when we visit STL. "

"Overall good stay, however, we were initially double charged for our room but was it was corrected when I brought up that we had pre-paid. The parking situation is not ideal with Energizer having most of the good parking spots in the parking garage so you’ll likely have to park on level 2 or 3."
"No windows and natural lights, except for an inner courtyard inside the building. Room was fine but we had some problems with charging of our phones, as our European power converters didn't quite fit in the wickets. We need some more USB charger ports please.
