"The house is nicely appointed and clean. I was very impressed with how well stocked the kitchen was with cooking utensils, pots/pans, even a crockpot and insta-pot! Never saw that in a VRBO before! The grounds are beautiful and well kept and the area is very peaceful. However, the area near the dock is not good for swimming as described in the property overview. "We all (wife and two friends) had a great stay at the Mackinaw House. Rooms and living areas were all clean and well supplied. Especially enjoyed the privacy of our little stretch of the Lake Huron shore for cookouts and stargazing. Would gladly return or recommend the house to any future guests."
