"Love the fact we could bring our fur babies, they were safe with the drive through gate and fencing. Really enjoyed the folage around cottage, it makes it very private and cooler. Everything we could have needed was there for us. Very short walk to the beach.We will definitely be returning for another visit."

"I have nothing but high praises for this property. It was bright and greeted you as soon as you come around the corner. The interior was immaculate and we had virtually no issues with our stay. The bathroom with both a soaking tub and large shower… I LOVED it! When we arrived, the main interior door knob was previously loosened which made closing the door near impossible. I reached out to Vacasa as soon as I noticed it, and quite literally, had a solution in place within 30 minutes. A complete...

"This was my third time at The Whale! I absolutely adore John’s place! The inside is very comfortable and clean. The A/C works great - stays very cool! The beds are super comfortable and the new fridge makes plenty of ice! The hot tub is my favorite feature where you can relax after a long day at the beach and gaze at the sky filled with stars. The location is awesome - very close to restaurants and the grocery. Also, a walking path to the beach across the street is a nice plus! John is a lovely...

"Awesome experience. The house was fantastic. We booked it for two nights and really wished we'd booked longer. Situation is perfect, the island is incredible. Kids loved the pool. Laundry facilities were really welcome (we were over from the UK at the midway point of a long trip around the Southeastern US). Everything we needed was in place. Such a short walk to the beach. Such a short walk to great, well priced, restaurants and bars. Really comfortable beds. Also, comms with the management...

The beds were very comfortable. We loved the short 2-3 minute walk to the beach, and from there a short 20 minute stroll to the jetty or the pool. (or a two-minute car ride).
