Holiday lodge, Retallack Resort plus watersports

Whether you are enjoying the extensive on-site facilities or heading out to explore the stunning Cornish coast and countryside, Number 64 is a fabulous place to have as your holiday HQ! This is a holiday home in the truest sense, with a laid-back atmosphere and plenty of room for guests to spread out and relax.

With spacious and light accommodation throughout, Number 64 is a cheery and welcoming lodge, well equipped to suit your holiday needs. From the entrance hall, doors lead off to two of the bedrooms, a spacious super-king room that can also be laid out as a twin, and a smaller twin room. A convenient family bathroom sits adjacent to these bedrooms and comprises of a modern white suite with a bath, separate shower, and twin sinks. The end of the hall opens out to an open plan living area with large sliding doors to the decked terrace, allowing natural light to flood the room. To your left sits a modern kitchen with gas hob and seating for eight people, plenty of space for relaxed holiday dining. Head upstairs to find a fantastic lounge with vaulted ceilings, large A frame window and sliding door leading onto a balcony, a wonderful second space in which to relax. Tucked behind are two further bedrooms, a double room, and a twin (another zip-and-link which can be prepared as a super-king on request) plus a shower room and WC for the upstairs guests.

Retallack has a huge range of on-site activities for the water babies in the party, including wakeboarding, an inflatable aqua park and the Flow Rider, Cornwall’s only surf simulator. These activities must be booked directly with Retallack and will incur a fee which is payable directly to the resort. Activities included in the cost of your stay include the indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room, fitness suite and the children’s outdoor play area. If a beach day is more your thing, you are spoilt for choice. A short car journey will take you to any of the “Seven Bays for Seven Days” for which the area is renowned, just pack your bucket and spade! Once you have worked up an appetite in the waves, head into Padstow for a refuel where you will find food options around every corner. Keep an eye out for seasonal pop-ups serving everything from Tacos to Burgers, or pop to Padstow Farm Shop for locally reared meat and veg to cook up a storm back at the lodge.
