The spacious bedroom boasts a comfortable queen-sized bed and a TV, offering stunning garden views. Unwind in the separate kitchenette/dining area, complete with a cozy sofa and another TV for your entertainment.
Indulge in the spa-like bathroom featuring a large walk-in shower with invigorating water pressure. Plush pool towels (and terry robes during spa season) await you in the bedroom closet, ensuring ultimate comfort during your stay.
Step into your private backyard oasis, where a charming patio off the apartment invites you to dine al fresco at the four-person table or fire up the convenient gas grill. Take a refreshing dip in the secluded swimming pool, heated from April through October to a cozy 85 degrees, or relax in the large, heated spa (100 degrees) available from November through March.
From November to March, enjoy a complimentary hot-tub spa session overlooking the lush gardens and pool with every stay. Additional spa sessions are available for a fee to cover fuel costs.

Paradise Found truly is paradise

It was the most relaxing vacation we have ever had.The apartment was lovely and the attention to detail was perfect. But the outdoors. Beautiful place of tranquility and amazement. Jed and Dave were perfect hosts. Not just hosts but new friends. There is so much to do in the area that it could keep you very busy but we found our joy in the peaceful surroundings and only went out for dinner. I can’t say enough and we will definitely go back.

This was our 30th wedding anniversary, when we arrived there was a bottle wine and a nice card waiting for us. Upon arrival seeing the gardens for the first time was unbelievable it looked like a private rain forrest. The private pool was amazing and so much fun. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. Town was quick walk or drive away. The host are very helpful and nice. If you need a beautiful place to stay close to St Augustine this is it!

Truly Paradise

From the moment we arrived, Dave welcomed us with such warmth and kindness—it immediately felt like home. The property is peaceful, breathtaking, and filled with the kind of energy that helps you instantly disconnect from the chaos of everyday life.At times, it felt like we were on our own private island, completely removed from the world. The pool and surrounding ambience were absolutely perfect—every corner offered something beautiful to take in, whether it was the sound of the breeze, the view of the sky, or the gentle rustle of the trees.A special thank you to Jed, who kindly offered us plant clippings because we couldn’t stop admiring the stunning landscaping. That small gesture truly speaks to the thoughtfulness and love poured into this space.Every detail of our stay was so well thought out, and the hospitality made it all the more meaningful. Truly a Paradise!

Beautiful, clean, wonderful hosts 10!Dave and Jed were excellent hosts: friendly, welcoming and gave lots of good advice/recommendations for visiting St. Augustine. (They made my wife and I feel extra special since it was our anniversary: a beautiful card and a bottle of prosecco were waiting for us upon arrival.) Their guest apartment was a comfy, clean place to stay and had all the amenities you could want. The grounds/pool/gardens were exceptional - what a lovely escape. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting a great “home base” to explore St. Augustine!

Paradise so close to the city

Me and my wife stayed 4 nights at this wonderful property. The accommodations were just right for us and the back yard was glorious with several areas to sit and get sun or shade and to relax between outings. A small pool and hot tub were nice and warm providing us respite from our Maine winter. The hosts were friendly an available, but kept to themselves. We would book this proprty again.

Incredible Stay!

My wife and I just spent 4 nights at Paradise Found and did not want to leave! The attention to detail throughout the property was stunning. The accommodations were more than adequate from the comfortable bed to the bathroom, and the small kitchenette. We prepared light meals and used the grill a few times. The star of the show were the grounds. We spent most of our time out by the pool, checking out the lush gardens throughout the property, and biking around the neighborhood. The hosts occasionally checked in on us while we were exploring and offered up lots of interesting history of the area/neighborhood. We found their dining and entertainment recommendations very useful as well. This was easily the best short term rental experience we have ever had and can't wait to return!

A serene place to stay.

The gardens are beautiful. If you mostly want to just relax, maybe read a book, this is the place. If you want to get out it's an easy walk to downtown if your reasonably fit or you can drive to the beach or other attractions on Anastasia Island.The studio was very well equipped. We stayed for a week, ate most meals in and the small kitchen had everything we needed.

Cute 1-Bedroom Apartment

Dave and Jeb were wonderful hosts. Their apartment is really cute. Nice bathroom, living room and spacious bedroom. They have beautiful gardens and different small walking paths. It was very peaceful which is just what I wanted. They have a pool on the property also with various sitting areas. I would definitely book this apartment again.

A Little Haven

Dave and Jed are wonderful! The place was perfect as our "base camp" to enjoy St. Augustine. Very clean and comfortable. The grounds are a little paradise! We looked forward to coming back there and enjoying the pool each day. Very nice place!! Loved it.

Pictures don't give Justice! Amazing!!!

Dave and Jed are amazing hosts. Their backyard oassis rivals any 5 star resort. Their attention to details and hospitality was above and beyond. Our only regret was not spending more time enjoying the rental instead of exploring St Augustine. It was a lovely walk to town and we didn't need to drive anywhere. We definitely plan to come back.

The Emerald Gardens

What an impressive property!! This oasis is stunning! With small path ways all over the property leading you to one private area after another through out the beautiful lush landscaping makes you want to book another night or come again for another stay! Morning coffee over looking the koi pond and afternoon soaks in the pool/spa is how we spent our days. So close to the downtown hustle and bustle it’s truly an escape from all the tourist fun. The host we very very accommodating and a pleasure to speak with. They created this resort themselves and you can see the love they have poured into it. Stay here and I guarantee you won’t want to leave!!

From the minute we booked our stay, and received a welcoming text from Dave&Jed, it was evident of how much love & care they put into their home. That care easily transfers to their guests, not missing a beat on providing everything from a spare toothbrush to excellent suggestions for activities and restaurants. We had the best time. The property is walking distance to town and many activities. It was also a bike ride or jog to the lighthouse and state park. The backyard was AMAZING! It was wonderful to relax out there. Highly recommend!

Anniversary Get Away

The property is as nice as advertised. We visited St. Augustine to celebrate our anniversary, and we were greeted with flowers, a card and a bottle of champagne. A very thoughtful gesture on behalf of David and Jed. The property is just a short 10 minute walk across the Bridge of Lions to all the things you want to see in the downtown area. It is located in a quiet neighborhood, with no traffic, or noise of any kind. The inside is not a huge space, but it has everything you need. The beauty and seclusion of the outdoor space, with multiple sitting areas around the pool/spa, was priceless. Knowing the pool/spa were waiting for us after a day of sightseeing was our favorite part of this rental property. David and Jed could not have been nicer. They were so helpful with any questions we had about St. Augustine, places to visit or restaurants to try. If we visit St. Augustine again, this will be the first place we will look to stay.

Relaxing Getaway

This was a beautiful property with excellent hosts. Dave and Jed were both very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed and gave great recommendations on things to do around the area. The property was also very clean and well maintained and the pool was a great way to unwind after a day of activities. My partner and I would definitely recommend staying here if you're in the area. Most things were within walking distance including some great restaurants and shopping.

Paradise truly found!

The only reason you should not rent this property is if you are not going to St Augustine! Everything (from reserving the property to leaving the property) could not have been more stress-FREE! The owners concern for our visit to be relaxing and enjoyable was evident in everything from our interactions with them to the cleanliness and organization of the apartment. We walked across the bridge into town every morning for breakfast and sight seeing (I recommend the fort) and in the evenings we typically stayed on the island for dinner. (The owners’ recommendations were spot on!) But the highlight of our time was spent in the backyard by the pool or pond. The care that has gone into creating a tropical paradise for their guests is beyond description. There is no need to look any further! Grab the property as quickly as you can! We will definitely be back!
