"Green Gables was an excellent choice for us. We were in town to bike the Root River State Trail. They have a nice bike storage shed where you can charge your bikes and secure them to a bike rack inside the shed. It’s on the edge of town so it’s quiet and peaceful. Our room had a view of the river. It was very clean and roomy. The owner was very friendly and helpful, but forgot to tell us that our room code also got us into the lobby/lounge. "It is a good hotel. The breakfast was nice. There is a microwave and fridge in the room. They fancy the towels in designs for you. The only thing I didn’t like were the beds. They were old, creeky and very uncomfortable. We were upstairs."

"Jeg besøgte mit gamle College i Decorah, og Cresco er ca. 20 km fra Decorah. Hotellet er nemt at finde på highway 9 og parkering er nem og sikker. Morgenmaden er ikke særlig spændende."

"The phones couldn't call front desk, had to go back and forth a few times for questions which was very inconvenient, especially hard to walk for me (there to visit Mayo clinic). No blankets in room once bedspreads thrown off, so was chilly (shared room with sis whose always hot/me cold). Large fridge in kitchenette was nice as was shuttle service from hotel."
