"I had a fun stay at the monastery in Fort Augustus along with my wife and 3 kids. The property itself is beautiful and the activities for the kids were exactly what we came for. Whether it's spending time at the pool/sauna/steam room or playing chess in the courtyard. The apartment was well furnished and fit all of us well. The Spar in town allows you to pick up food (more than just necessities). Great communication with the team who run the property leading up to our arrival and then again at...

"We spent a fantastic 14 days in this beautiful holiday home. The house is huge, with enough space for everyone, and it's equipped with everything you need, and more. It's also a perfect spot for day trips in all directions. We'd love to come back one day!"

"The apartment was exactly as described, and we spent three lovely days in the Guest Room. When we arrived, we were met with a clear letter presenting both the room, the town and the environs of the town, and the hosts had even laid out two walking guides for us to use during our stay. The room was stylish, welcoming, functional, and clean, and situated close to both the central square of the town and major connecting roads it made for a nice starting point for our stay in Fort William."

"The Granary is on a courtyard surrounded by a main house occupied by the hosts, Dennis and Marion, and out buildings supporting maintenance of the grounds and facilities. The grounds are extensive and gorgeous.The location is 45 minutes to Inverness, 15 minutes to Urquhart Castle and close to Fort Augustus, Fort William and Ben Nevis, the tallest mountain in the UK.Communications with the management company did not include an address - the estate is just north of Invermoriston village where...

"Chalet très spacieux et avec tout le confort. In térieur très douillet et très bien décoré sur le thème « Harry Potter » (nos ados étaient ravis !), moquette style tartan, intérieur chaleureux en bois… Très bien situé pour visiter Glenfinnan (le viaduc et le train d’Harry Potter, le monument jacobite), les plages de sable blanc et de coraux juste à côté, et pour randonner le long du loch Morar qui est magnifique. A recommander."

"Very comfortable and cozy cottage by the shore with everything we needed as a small group with a young child. Kitchen was well stocked to prepare meals, we were close driving distance to beautiful hikes and vistas. Would definitely return and absolutely recommend. "

"We stayed in the cottage for 2 weeks in July 2025 and had a very comfortable holiday, partly exploring and walking the different spots across the peninsula, on southern Skye and in Kintail and partly sat just watching the world (and the dolphins) go by from the super sun room. This is such a great find and particularly helpful to be allowed to bring our dog"
