"A lovely place to stay. An absolute stunning view over the bay across the Aegean sea to the isle of spetses. My wife and me used the place as base to exploring the peloponnes but it absolute lovely to stay there and explore the area. To get to the place is a quite bit of a challenge. A 6 min. Hill walk from the town Square or drive around on the half hill on a bumpy washed out dirt road. Definitely helpful to have an old jeep or something. Not the best for our old Civic. "It was an incredible experience to live alone in an abandoned village in Mani. You feel far away from everything and it is a nice feeling. The nearest beach is about 25 minutes driving. The house is always fresh downstairs in the main bedroom. For the persons who like to hike, unfortunately, a fire occured in august 2021 so it is not very pleasant to walk in the countryside around. Mosquitoes could be a challenge also sometimes during the evening (even in the house). The views from the house are...
