Alpehytter i Sovereign Island

"A charming character Victorian hotel with excellent restaurant, and adjacent accommodation. We only stopped one night but will be back. We were made welcome from start to finish by all staff. The bar is full of history, and food in the heritage restaurant was superb and a credit to the chef."

"The room looked clean when we first arrived, but then we noticed all the crumbs on the bedside table from the previous guests. Bed was very comfortable and having a bar with a restaurant downstairs was great. The location was very convenient and there was a few other shops around. We turned on the bathroom light/fan and a putrid smell came up from the drain. We showered in the dark from then on. There is no reception here, so you need to see the bar staff to check in.
