This newly renovated 3rd Floor Condo was completed in 2022. Enjoy a private deck and your view of the Harbor and Atlantic Ocean!

The open concept design of the main living space of the home is great for groups to enjoy together!

**In 2023 we switched from Window A/C Units to Portable A/C Units to reduce noise from road in bedrooms**

* *Please note that this unit is not the best for light sleepers as this Condo is on Maine State Route 102 with noise that can be heard in the units. This 100year old building can experience noise from the units above or below at times as well. Earplugs and Sound Machines are in each bedroom for guests if needed.

The guests will have the entire unit as well as the deck outside available with access. There is one central staircase that is shared with neighboring units to access the front door.

With our guest`s privacy being of the utmost importance, we have established a contactless self check-in process. We will send you detailed instructions on how to access the home at the time of the reservation.

Tucked along the southwestern shores of Mount Desert Island, Southwest Harbor is a charming fishing village known for its working waterfront, stunning harbor views, and laid-back atmosphere. Often considered the quieter counterpart to Bar Harbor, this coastal town offers a more relaxed and authentic Maine experience while still providing easy access to Acadia National Park.

Home to a thriving boatbuilding industry, Southwest Harbor boasts a strong maritime heritage, with local shipyards crafting some of the finest yachts in the world. The town’s picturesque harbor is dotted with lobster boats, sailboats, and waterfront restaurants serving up fresh-caught seafood.

Outdoor enthusiasts will find plenty to explore, from the scenic trails of Western Mountain and Beech Cliffs to the serene beauty of Seawall and Echo Lake. The town also serves as a gateway to Great Cranberry and Little Cranberry Islands, accessible by ferry for those looking to explore Maine’s rugged offshore beauty.

This unit is on the 3rd floor and is in a building that does not have an elevator. You will need to climb stairs to access this unit.

Please note that this building was built in 1920 and has limited insulation causing noise to sometimes pass easily through the units. This can come from neighboring units as well as noise from the street. There is a noise machine in each bedroom as well as earplugs if you are sensitive to noise when you sleep. The roadway next to the building is Maine State Route 102 that has traffic passing through at all hours, speed limit on the road is 30MPH. The amount of noise you may encounter can very depending on the road traffic, and how respectful neighbors are during your stay. If a guest does experience any excessive noise from neighbors they are able to reach out to me and I can help resolve the issue. The entire building observes a quiet time between 10:00PM-8:00AM which includes running your laundry as to not disturb the neighbors.
-Please note that you must be out of the Unit by 10:15AM the LATEST. You will receive a $150 fee if you are out of the unit later than 10:15AM and will be charged an additional $50 for every 15minute interval that you are late after that. We have had problems with guests leaving late in the past and need to make sure that our cleaning team has enough time to properly clean the unit before the next guests arrive.
-This building observes quiet time from 10:00PM-8:00AM and you are not allowed to make excessive noise or run the washer/dryer during those hours because of the noise it makes. This building is over 100+ years old and the walls are thinner than modern walls
-No pets are allowed in the unit. You will be charged a $400 Pet Fee if you are caught with a pet in the unit
-No parties or events are allowed in the unit. You will immediately be kicked out of the unit if you hold an event at the unit and will be charged a $1,000 fee
