With elderly parents the house was very well furnished and so comfortable and warm with plenty of lighting and areas to relax. "We stayed at this house for 5 nights over Christmas and would have stayed for longer if we could have. The house is in a peaceful, beautiful setting on a property shared by a couple of good-natured geese and some chickens, and having fresh eggs was a bonus. The large kitchen is well equipped and enabled us to cook a 3 course Christmas dinner for the family, which we enjoyed on the wrap-around verandah.
