"The place was in an overall, very bad condition. No cleaning was done, for the 3 days, that our stay lasted. Besides from that, the place was worn down. Thes staff in the bar and at the breakfast buffet, seamed confused and didn't care about the guests."

"I spent three nights here whilst away for work, I got there late on the first night and a late check-in was no problems, the staff here are fantastic, really nice people and always happy to talk, the hotel is in nice grounds with horse fields out the front, I went for a run around the local area and it was nice. The room itself was very large, and a little dated but comfy enough, it had some comfy chairs that I could use for watching TV rather than having to sit on the bed which I like. The...

"Clean, quiet and comfortable. Loved the Manor House/main building, which has an interesting and quirky history, dating back to the 1600s. Rooms are basic, a bit dated and located separately from the main building - now a conference centre - and are a complete contrast to the lovely 17th century features of the manor. Room was also quite hot as there is no air conditioning. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Check in was very quick. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace with a glass of wine...

"Pænt og rent hotel. Små værelser og smalle senge, men pænt og rent. Udmærket til en enkelt overnatning. Vældig populært med krydstogt passagerer. God parkering mod gebyr, som betales ved indtjekning. Hotellets restaurant og bar er udmærket men lidt for dyrt. Der er en Mcdonald og en anden burger/steak restaurant rundt om hjørnet. Der er også forskellige forretninger samt IKEA. Alt i alt okay ophold."

"Nice property but unfortunately the night we stayed there was a prom and we were put in a room opposite the dance room so not ideal with an early start the next day. Pool and steam room were ok and only stayed one night. Great Indian restaurant close by called Raja. Very good!"

"We had an overnight stay before boarding our ship the next day. Parking for me was great and complimentary but I do think there is a charge normally. At reception we were met and our cases were taken care of by the porters, receptionists x 3 were at hand for booking in. We had booked a standard room So I asked if we could upgrade and was given a superior room with balcony and views of the Solent and cheap as chips. "Room was extremely hot. No A/C. Could not get some documents printed at the reception as the receptionist was not allowed to use the printer for the manager. In general are British hotels of a very low standard compared to the rest of Europe."
