"It's a beautiful old house and nicely located within walking distance of restaurants and pubs. Plenty of parking in the back. The staff are great - friendly and helpful. My only complaint was with the shower controls! After fiddling with them for quite some time, I finally managed to get water at a reasonable temperature to flow from the shower head rather than in the tub, but even now I don't think I could repeat the process."

"Beautiful sea view room. The only downside to this hotel was that it has low water pressure in the shower and no drinking water in the room and had to go to the bar if you wanted any."

"Stayed a couple.of nights in a family room - this had two separate spacious bedrooms, each with their own tea/coffee and TV facilities which was well stocked. Although there wasn't a sea view from our room, the view over swanage and surrounding hills was still lovely and provided some stunning sunsets. The hotel itself was clean and tidy and staff were welcoming and attentive. Breakfast was also well catered, and the beach was a short walk away albeit via a couple of steep routes down the cliff....

Don’t come before 3 p.m.: “come again at 3 p.m.” despite we are gold members entitled to early check in IF the room is ready, but they did not even check, and don’t ask for breakfast before 8 a.m., which is too late for guests on the go. “Come again at 8 a.m.” – You cannot have a table in the restaurant even if booked 12 hours ahead: “others booked months ahead” (nonsene) - Food is...

"Fantastisk morgenmad, hvor der var kræset for detaljen. Pga. den centrale placering er der noget gadestøj, men det er langt opvejet af fordelene. Hyggeligt og rent værelse, venlig og imødekommende vært, der virkeligt kræsede om morgenmaden."
