"Another lovely stay at the Manor. Staff very welcoming. Room comfortable but be prepared for old fashioned. If you want newer and more uniform, pay a lot more at the Premier inn with its scaffolding still!! I like Exmouth's old hotels they have character and offer GVFM . We didn’t have breakfast but did have food in the bar the evening before which was excellent. Book parking ahead of your stay as it’s limited. Out the front there are public spaces, but v limited."

"Hotellet ligger i et fredeligt område omgivet af natur. Byen det ligger i er en gammel badeby, med få dårlige spisesteder, en forældet forlystelsespark og en strand. Hotellet er af ældre dato, men pænt og velholdt. Det er primært ældre mennesker og få børnefamilier, der besøger hotellet, mens vi er der. Servicen på hotellet er god. Restauranten er forældet, og kvaliteten og varieteten på maden ringe. Betjeningen høflig. Kan ikke anbefale at spise mad der. Og problemet er at vi ikke fandt bedre...

"We stayed for three nights in a family room for three. The room is specious and clean. We have a dog with us and Kings Arms is 100% dog friendly. We stayed in a room quite close to some cooling system which was required to keep turned on to keep the beer cold (I think) but it produced a constant mechanically nose which became very noticeable in the evening. "I loved that old cottage and am glad it is in good use. It's nicely furnished and the village where it is situated is delightful. Two negatives were the dog smell in the lounge and poor state of plants in pots. While the dog smell is probably unavoidable as dogs are allowed, the dead plants brought about a depressing impression. Being a gardener, I tried to look after the remaining plants and had to transplant one huge heuchera plants that was literally hanging in the air as its pot was...

"I was staying with my 88 year old Mum. We were awoken at 3am by banging and chatting from the room next door. It continued until we left at 7.30am. The room was apparently a room bring renovated with no door lock, just holes where it should be and Yellow No Entry tape. I was told the occupants needed emergency accommodation for the night. I drove 4 hours home on 3 hours sleep. I would not recommend this hotel if you would prefer to sleep through the night!"

"Huset er meget gammelt og det har klart sin charme, men væggene er ca 50 cm brede og derfor meget fugtige. Værelset var kold og fugtigt. Det fælles toilet og bad var langt henne af gangen. Ingen håndvask ved toilettet, så alle rører ved samme dørhåndtag med beskidte hænder efterfølgende."
