"There were significant shortcomings for which we requested a partial refund - but have heard nothing, not even an apology. The gas fireplace, which was a crucial part of our decision to rent this property, was not functional. One double bed had no sheets at all, the other had only a bottom sheet, requiring the sleeper to use the blanket as a top sheet. The host's "solution" was to have the housekeeper hang a bag with a sheet on the front door handle the next day. There were minor omissions...

"The host was very communicative and friendly! We had a group of 4 and our pup stay and it was very accommodating for us. The only disappointment was the pictures of the house had not been updated prior to our stay, we were expecting the large sectional couch upon our arrival and discovered an oversized love seat and just one chair in the living room. There is also not as much yard space as the pictures had made it seem, the front yard has a steep drop off, so not much room for our dog to play....
