"This condo is fabulous with everything you need for a perfect stay on Po'olenalena Beach. It is a 60 second walk from the front door to the sand. Views from the huge wrap around lanai are superb. Kitchen is well equipped. Beds are comfy. Showers are fantastic. The host is responsive and helpful. Highly recommend the poke at Tamura's Liquor Stroke (yeah, I know, trust me), shaved ice at Ululani's, Tin Roof, and dinner at Nick's Fishmarket, Be warned that prices in Maui are much higher than the used to be, but that is no one's fault. After several stays in Maui we finally did the road to Hana for the first (and last) time. Overall, highly recommend Makena Surf C-201 for a perfect beach holiday in Maui."

"I have stayed at multiple locations throughout Maui and this is by far the best place I have stayed yet. Maria was great to work with and accomodated our every question. She is the best host we have worked with - ever! The view from the condo is second to none. Molokini crater is so close! The sunsets were beautiful. The condo is well stocked with everything you need to compliment your stay. The condo is very clean and the furniture is comfortable. You can open the entire sliding doors adjacent to the living room and let the trade winds fill the air or if you get too warm, you can close them and utilize the AC. The bed was very comfortable. My wife and I agreed the bed is more comfortable than the bed we currently sleep on. We mostly hung out and walked to the (uncrowded) beach below to swim and snorkel. Turtle Town is directly below the condo and I counted 7 turtles on one of my many snorkel excursions. We ate out for dinner every night and did not eat at the same place twice. Lots of restaurants within 10 minutes to choose from. Lots of room for parking and it is nice the property is gated. We felt safe the whole time we were there. I can't say enough about the greatness of this property, Maria, and her band of managers. It is truly a gem and we can't wait to return."

"My husband and I stayed for 10 nights, and friends joined us for a few evenings of the trip as well. The property is exactly as listed and pictures give accurate depiction of what one is to expect. 4 adults did not feel cramped in this condo. Ample space to spread out to both work and relax. As frequent travelers, there are three aspects of a property I expect. Cleanliness, bed comfort, and safety. This property boasted all three and more. The sunset view from the lanai was beautiful, even spotted whales one evening of our stay. The beach was steps from the property and was relaxing, clean, and private. For an extended stay such as our own, the kitchen was well equipped for preparing meals. The laundry in unit is a great amenity, and the comfortable bed was greatly welcomed. I would recommend a vehicle for anyone visiting. It is located near all of the major Fine Hotels; an easy, 5 minute door-door, drive to fabulous restaurants and Lounges. Although close to resorts, you are not in the hustle and bustle of the tourists to hear or notice commotion. We do highly suggest making dinner reservations in the area. The town of Kihei, 15 minutes north of the property was a quaint, beach front community, slightly reminiscent of family vacations in the 80s. Fun and entertaining for families or anyone for that matter. In all we were quite happy and would recommend this property to friends and family. We do plan to return again."

"This is a majestic location, right on the oceanfront, gorgeous views of the ocean, sky, lava rocks, birds singing and beauty everywhere. The cottage is updated with everything you could ever want and more. The bed was so comfortable, plenty of drawers and closet space, wonderful kitchen fully equipped with everything you could want. We felt at home. The peace and beauty of nature lives in us now. Best VRBO/Air B and B we have ever rented!"

"This is a beautiful condo, with a breathtaking view! A whale show greeted us out our lanai as we arrived, and we had a couple of other shows - with full breaching like I've never seen before! Both beaches are great - good for all ages - 7 to 77 in our case. And there are several other beaches very near by if you like variety. There weren't any sand toys or games or books for smaller kids, so bring your own or pick some up there. But there were books and other games for teens and adults, beach chairs, sun umbrella, plenty of towels, etc. making everything easy. The condo itself is very comfortable, and really gorgeous! We hope to come back soon!"
