"First of all. We didn’t know the water wasnt potable so we had to grab our own. When we pulled up it’s a barn attached to a house and you have to walk up two flights of stairs to get to the “apartment” it’s a barn so lots of black flies upstairs so we didn’t use the beds. Spiders all over the place. Beach was beautiful and overall the place was very peaceful but the shower we didn’t use because we didn’t trust the water. Not a place I would take a child under 7. Very hard to wash bottles for a...

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was comfortable, secluded, peaceful, charming and nice and simple. Totally chilled out and relaxed in the pleasant and beautiful lakeside retreat. Did some kayaking and swimming...Had a bonfire.. Did some site seeing...Don't miss Ausable Chasm and Texas Red Hots (2miles north). The owners, were so friendly, accommodating and helpful. Grounds were clean. Brought our dog, Zoey and she enjoyed it too. The getaway we needed. Thank you"

"My friends and I had a wonderful stay. We utilized the hot tub, boats, and grill during our stay. The owners were very responsive leading up to our stay and during it. Room heights are short in the bedrooms and bathroom - we are short so this wasn’t an issue for us but may be for those 6’ and up. Kitchen was well equipped with plates, pots, dishes, utensils, etc. "

"Vermont is so beautiful , and this place is really what is all about. Quiet place . Close from everything at the same time. Everyone in the family enjoyed it. We had some minor issues that was addressed quickly by the host. Check-in was really easy, communication clear and fast. Excellent stay."

"This was an amazing rental. Nestled in a quiet rural area off the beaten path, but close to the colleges for graduation. Our family just loved our stay. Unfortunately for us, it rained our whole trip, but was a welcomed chance to slow life down and enjoy the fireplace and good conversation. Our twins graduated from Champlain college and this was an ideal location ,not too far from the expo center where the ceremony was held. The cabin was very clean and well kept for this early season...

"Overall, a little more rustic than expected. Location is awesome, lake views and sunsets excellent. Beds comfortable, and kitchen well stocked with all the things you need. Lots of good places nearby to eat and drink. Excellent breweries, and good restaurants. Easy to get to Burlington waterfront, and mountain views at Stowe."
