"We really enjoyed the large comfortable spa room. The hospitality coming and going was spot on! Walking distance to everything to do in South Haven, including the beaches! The housemade breakfast was so relaxing and tasty. We will definitely look to stay there again when we return. "

"Small accommodations, but clean! Great location, easy access to beach and lots of dinner and evening entertainment options.
Staff was extremely friendly and helpful!
Made to order breakfast was AMAZING!!
Enjoyed our short stay but definitely recommend and plan to stay again if in the area!!

"Absolutely fantastic hotel. Very safe location with a few fast food restaurants within walking distance. There is also an Aldi Supermarket close by. The room was impeccable with the most comfortable beds and pillows bar none. Ample spacious parking. Excellent choice of TV channels. "
"Older hotel getting updated. Bed was very comfortable, bathroom was updated and very clean. When making reservations, only doubles were available. When we checked in I asked if any kings had opened up and we were given a king. Staff was very friendly and helpful."
"Excellent room, breakfast had a range of options with eggs and waffles and other hot options, and there was a Culver’s across the street for dinner. The hotel details said the pet fee was $50 per dog per night, but turned out to be $15 per dog per night. The laundry had rather old, small machines, so we had to go to a laundromat. But otherwise, this was a good, reasonably-priced hotel."
"What a wonderful stay we had at the beautiful Black River Inn Bed and Breakfast. The owners provided above and beyond great service, were very kind, GREAT FOOD, wonderful hospitality, and great conversation on our 3 night stay. Such a beautiful, peaceful area to spend a relaxing time, yet close enough to many activities we had a great time doing. Thank you so much! We look forward to our next stay with you."
"Everything you need is provided and more. The property is stunning, clean, lit well and peaceful. Close to town/beach. The bikes provided were safe and easy to ride the 4 miles/30 min. to south beach. Massage therapist was very skilled and relaxing in the pines with fresh air flowing and birds chirping was rejuvating. I visited solo for 2 nights but I will return with my husband to experience the fall foliage. "
"Loved the property as we stayed in the guest house. The friendly black cat would come greet us in the morning as we sat on our private patio for coffee. The picnic basket breakfast was delivered at 9 am and was delicious. We also enjoyed the jacuzzi in our room. The flowers around the whole bed and breakfast were beautiful "
"Patsy was great at checking us in & out! Super friendly! Loved there were firepits & they provide the wood at no cost! Even gave us some firestarter for quicker fire & it worked sooo well! Will definitely be back next year!"
