"Perfect hotel for me, my partner, and dog! Other hotels and airbnbs in the area were extra expensive and/or not pet-friendly due to LDW, and we didn’t want to spend $1,000+ for just a 3-night stay. If you’re looking for a hotel that’s affordable, perfectly located, has a lot of outdoor activities, very dog friendly, and a midwest/vintage charm, Sun & Sand is a great choice. While the rooms are a bit outdated, they were clean and well-kept. The bathroom was especially clean. Some of these reviews...

"We stayed in Room 14. It’s has 3 beds. Very comfortable. Four adults parents/kids stayed here and enjoyed the room. Stairs. Nicely decorated. Very clean. Air conditioner. Heater available. Staff is AMAZING! Very nice morning breakfast. Beach towels. In a fabulous location to beach or downtown. Highly recommend staying here. Each room is unique. Check each one out and choose the one you like the best as each has different features. "

"Good location for a weekend"

"Loved the property as we stayed in the guest house. The friendly black cat would come greet us in the morning as we sat on our private patio for coffee. The picnic basket breakfast was delivered at 9 am and was delicious. We also enjoyed the jacuzzi in our room. The flowers around the whole bed and breakfast were beautiful "

"Older hotel getting updated. Bed was very comfortable, bathroom was updated and very clean. When making reservations, only doubles were available. When we checked in I asked if any kings had opened up and we were given a king. Staff was very friendly and helpful."

"Such a cute cabin, exactly as described. Perfect location, close drive to downtown (maybe 5 min). Very clean and had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. Perfect for the dogs with a large yard area. Hot tub was a nice touch and we had it to ourselves. I would stay here again in a hearbeat!"
