"Previous nights renters dirty sheets were left inside the unit on the entry bench.???? Unit(garage)had a funky smell but was fine after aired out and the dirty sheets may have contributed. Map link on vrbo site was sending me one block north to a gated community???? Wish my welcome note said "its a garage type building located behind the Fly Shop on the north side of the frontage road to hwy 160". Other than those 2 issues, the unit was fine for my needs on a quick 2 day trip to Wolf Creek....

"Nice place once you find it. Dangerous access off a busy state highway without road signs. Dicey every time We turned in and pure danger as we searched for the road sign that did not exist. Can be a nice place but several minor things have to be done first to make it worthy of a revisit."

"Driving cross country with a solid 3 days of driving and a needed place to stay and rest before pushing on. What a fantastic off the beaten path place to rest and relax. Has a cabin feel but modern. A short walk out the front door down to the Rio Grande River to watch wildlife or to sit and have a fire just feet from the rivers edge. Don’t forget to look up once the sun goes down. "The cabins (Doghouse 1 and 2) were super cute and comfortable, and as listed. We didn’t receive the code to gain access to the cabins before arrival, and the host didn’t respond to my message and phone call. Luckily, there was a couple staying in the third cabin who happened to get there while we were standing in the parking area trying to figure out what to do.
