"Northern is very comfortable and clean. Nice surprise being presented with a welcome bag with baked goodies. We will be staying longer during our next visit. The owners are very nice."

"Good for the night stay"

"Everything good will recommend"

"Had a great time! The location is perfect for exploring the area. It's a really nice and clean place with a great breakfast and really nice and helpful people. The house has been beautifully renovated and all the original details preserved. Has a cozy and warm feeling to it"

"Clean rooms, friendly staff. Would happily stay again :)"

"Brenda was a wonderful host. Hidden gem can be found in Rocky Retreat. Ambling Brook and beautiful song birds were the perfect accompaniment to the Adirondack wood style accommodations."

"The room itself was clean but the sofa and chairs need a deep cleaning. It’s a basic place which is fine and what we expected so all good with that, but the upholstery was not clean enough and the lights over head very bright with no option on the end table that was bright enough."

"What a great place to stay for our daughter's wedding! There was room for our family to stay comfortably. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed and more such as snacks, games, and wood for the campfire. The farm is centrally located for the Potsdam and Canton area. We enjoyed walking the trails behind the house and playing outdoors in the large, mowed areas. But most of all, what a great place to make memories. We made buckets of them with our family. "Amazing privacy. Gorgeous riverside view. Beautiful trails. Lovely fragrant soaps, shampoos and lotions. Warm and cozy on a cold November night. Had scrambled eggs on the beautiful refurbished antique stove. A joy to use! Lovely details of magazines, books, binoculars, games, lovely coffee mugs, French Press setup, great cooking utensils and pots and pans. Truly memorable! Hope to be back for sure!!!"

"The best cabin and coolest location! My wife and I stayed five wonderful days and loved every moment. We spent time on the river, in the woods, and everywhere in between. If you like a mixture of creature comforts and rustic surroundings, this is the place for you. Will definitely be back!"

"Our host Kasai was excellent and very responsive. Cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Great scenery, and right on the river. We really enjoyed our newfound duck friends."

"Absolutely beautiful all-around natural lighting with incredible views! The decor is so cozy and the kitchenette had everything we needed. There was a sweet dog that greeted us when we arrived. She barks at arrivals but is very friendly and we never heard her other then when we showed up. If you love animals, this is the place for you."

"Great communication with the host, Kevin. The place was clean and comfy for our one night of Troll Hunting at the Wild Center Would highly recommend this place over a lot of the motels in the area."

"Really enjoyed the accommodations. Hosts were pleasant to visit with. The only thing I would have liked that wasn't there was a washer and dryer but I knew that before I booked.. Thank you to the hosts."
