Resorter i Snead Island

"Right on beach. We were placed in the front of the building 2nd floor. It was very quiet. It was busy with vacationers. The pool was pretty full. We didn’t get in because the amount of people. The beach was very pretty. We didn’t not use the chairs because we were trying to avoid too much sun. They close it up at 6:00 and don’t open till 9. We did eat breakfast with family at the restaurant outside. We loved sitting and enjoying time together. It was hard to get a seat not very accommodating…...

"The hotel did not live up to the pictures at all. Everything was old and worn. It felt dirty and not clean. It was extremely noisy, and there was free access to the rooms from the street, which made us feel unsafe. We were woken up in the middle of the night by someone banging loudly on the door. We had a beautiful view from the rooms with a balcony, and the beach is beautiful as in the whole area. We were expecting a 4-star hotel as it was priced accordingly, but it is by no means one. "We had a wonderful stay at Cedar Cove! The beach access was absolutely amazing, and everything throughout the property was very clean and well maintained. The beach itself was beautiful, with clear water and no seaweed, which made the experience even better. The only improvement I would suggest is updating the beds. They felt a bit outdated and were not very stable. Other than that, everything was excellent, and we would definitely stay here again."

"We’ve stayed here before a few years ago, and it was nice, but we have vacationed at other resorts in St. Pete over the last 4-5 years. OH. MY. GOSH. Am I glad we came back! We were blown away by Tradewinds this time around! The staff was absolutely exceptional, the grounds were amazingly well kept, and there was an abundance of activities for all ages between Island Grand and Rumfish. We will be staying at Tradewinds each summer for our future vacations!"

"The hotel was beautiful in certain aspects, but it could be maintained better. The original tile in the main area was a nice touch. The bed linens felt cheap and the AC wasn't very cold in our room. They allow pets so at times I felt like I was in a petting zoo. Overall, probably not worth the high rates they charge."
