Feriehuse i Snaefellsnes-halvøen

"My wife and I spent four nights in this duplex cottage in the town of Hellnar on the Snaefellsbaer Peninsula. We were greeted by an amazing display of the Northern Lights on our first night. The place was comfortable and quiet and had all the amenities needed to feel like home for a few days. The views are stunning--the sea in one direction and mountains and the volcano that dominates the west end of the peninsula in the other. There are several little places to eat within a 5-10 minutes...

"The cottage was compact and well equipped for 2 people. I liked the quiet location and easy parking. I had two caveats: large downloads and streaming was prohibited on the wifi and guests were requested to change the bedding, make up the bed for the next guests arriving."

"We had a total of 12 people in our group and this property setup was perfect. People ages 8 months to 65 years. Location was great for exploring Snaefellness but not too far away from Reykjavik to discourage golden circle activities. Road is pretty easy to find, don’t need 4x4 but take it slow. Need cell phone access for getting to the property. We got to see northern lights while there so that was nice. Absolutely recommend staying here"

"Really nice cottage in a fantastic area. Everything worked just fine and the host was very helpfull all the way. Lots of tourists in late august but also possible to find less crowded spaces. And always nice to come home to the cottage after a long day!"

"This home was a perfect, cozy spot for our family (6 adults, 4 children) to relax after adventurous days exploring west Iceland! The location was quiet and private while also being a short drive to grocery stores, gas, and restaurants. The home was well stocked with essentials including plenty of towels for both shower and hot tub use. The owners provided detailed check-in instructions and responded to communications in a timely manner. We highly recommend this lovely home! "

"Two very comfortable houses within a quick walk from each other. The location well away from town and within easy day trips from Snaefellsnes peninsula and golden circle worked great for us. Great aurora on 2 nights. Hosts were very responsive to questions and provided great info about the whole region. "

"Das kleine Cottage hatte für uns alles, was man für den Aufenthalt braucht. Der private Hot Tub vor der Tür war wunderbar für den Abend. Wir waren vor allem auf der Halbinsel Snaefellsnes unterwegs, aber haben auch das Perlan-Museum in Reykjavik besucht."
