"The views from the cabin were amazing. Sitting on the deck eating meals and watching the river and quietness is a plus. Soaking in the hot tub after a long day of hiking is very relaxing. The cabin had what we needed for our trip. The only downside was the amount of caterpillars that got in and how loud the portable air conditioning was. Nothing that would make me not come back though. It does have a lower water pressure so if you are someone that needs a high pressure shower this is not for...

"What a great place! Son, mother, grandmother trip with dog. Plenty of space and we enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit. It is right off main road with train nearby, but that is disclosed in listing. I slept with window open and while I heard the trains, it was not that disruptive. A few restaurants in Gold Bar and several hikes and water time were greatly enjoyed. "

"Was clean, comfortable and so much space for me and my two teens. I was worried about the highway and train being so close but it was quiet and I barely noticed them. We stayed in September and our stay was cool and Stevens Pass Resort, about 15 minutes away, closed for wildfire smoke, but the house was not Smokey. Overall we loved it and played the games available and used the foosball table. "

"Great little place especially for dog owners. Place was clean with everything one would need to really enjoy themselves. Hot tub was nice and worked properly. Have rented places in the past that the hot tub didnt work or work properly. REMEMBER. A inoperable hot tub is NOT. a valid reason for a refund even though the hot tub is almost always a primary reason for chosiing a certain property. I believe this is a standard VRBO policy. "Property was spacious & clean. The kitchen fully stocked with a lot of counter space. The house has cabinets, cabinets & more cabinets! The hot tub was amazing. Very clean & hot. A bonus in the en suite bathroom is a huge walkin shower with double shower heads & a bench. Plus a bidet with a seat warmer 10/10. Will definitely stay again when in the area."

"Cabin offers great privacy, although one neighbor is close. Love the lights lining the trail leading down to the river and the completely private feel of the hot tub. Kitchen is well stocked with no drawer/cupboard left empty! The pet exercise pen was a savior and stretched the whole length of the deck! My city dogs were a little barky and VERY excited to be there. Being able to contain them allowed them to have freedom and also relax. The beds were also very comfortable. Unless I just missed...

"View of the river and location was great! There was a nice little sandy shore area accessible from the house that was great for hanging out and soaking up the nature. The house was well stocked and clean. Any questions we had were answered quickly by the property management team. Would stay again! "

"This place was such a surprise, a darling cabin in the woods with spectacular views. Every detail was considered and the amenities had such a thoughtful purpose everywhere you looked. And the hotub was amazing!!! The hwy and railroad is very close but you do not hear it at all on the river side or even inside the house. Also seeing the trains was fun! Highly recommend this place for a weekend getaway. "

"Very quiet neighborhood. Access to the cabin is easy to find from US2. To the cabin, there is a narrow and gravel road, so drive slowly (10 to 15mils/hrs) and need to caution oncoming vehicle. The cabin is very clean and have enough kitchen goods, so you can cooking at the cabin. You should get groceries before coming to the cabin. One grocery store in Gold Bar by US2.WIFI connection is sometimes weak and cell phone as well. A land line was in the cabin if you need to call.I enjoyed outside...

"This place is the perfect stay for our family. It's right on the river which is really beautiful to walk down and admire. Our kids got in and swam but it was a little too chilly for me...lol. fire pit was really nice to sit around at night and of course we roasted marshmallows and had s'mores. John was an incredible host and was there to answer any questions I had."
