"They had no record of our reaction (that we had paid confirmation through hotels.com. They charged us cash to get a room. (Options in the area and time we arrived extremely limited). Had to try and negotiate an 11 check out at 9 suggested he wanted us out by 10 (place had no other guests). Very noisey all night"

"The view is supreme. The room is very clean and quite well-appointed for the class of hotel. The location is very near to town just up the way to its hilltop perch. A good walk or short tuk tuk ride . The staff were friendly and helpful and the WiFi was good. I had reason to contact the manager and he responded quickly to sort out my issue. I highly recommend Mountjoy Ella."

"Property was clean and staff were wonderful! The breakfast was delicious! Highly recommend."

"This is a relative new Hotel - the room and bathroom is fantastic, everything works well Beds very good A nice sit on the terrasse with sunset"

"The room was excellent. Had everything I needed. Only thing I would add is an additional plug socket to the room. Melani was phenomenal from the start and throughout, she went above and beyond making sure I had everything I needed. Breakfast was made fresh every morning and Melani checked what I wanted and even accommodated things like getting low fat options, which she didn’t need to do. The star of this hotel besides the staff is the view from the balcony! Looking out onto Ella was lovely,...

"Great host and accommodated all our needs. Served fresh home made breakfast. Very clean rooms"

"Really good and big room with a great view. Enjoying the nice breakfast on the balcony was a real joy. Also the staff was so kind and helpful. Highly recommended."

"This is the place to stay if you come to Ella. It could not have been more perfect. You wake up to stunning views of the mountains and the most delicious homemade traditional breakfast. You can walk straight from the home to town or to hikes and popular sights. It keeps you out of the hustle and bustle of the street so you can really enjoy your stay. 11/10, loved my stay here. If I come back to Ella, I would love to stay again!"

"Dejlig solopgang fra balkon på værelset "

"Lidt spøjs hotel. Poolen er kold, men der er alle vist i området. Sporadisk betjening, men meget søde folk på stedet. Desværre lidt nattelarm. Ligger lige lidt uden for byen."

"Fantastisk sted!! Ligger højt og man skal kunne gå. Nyt, lækkert!!"

"a lovely boutique hotel with amazing staff & good breakfast"
