"Loved this beautiful old hotel, the staff were all friendly and welcoming. Very conveniently located in the historic downtown. My only hesitation to recommend it to some folks would be if you went the wrong direction you would quickly enter a small group of homeless people. "Poor location, busy streets all around and poor view from window to messy back yard. Loud noises from road work during the night made it difficult to get any sleep for the whole family. Rooms are decent and very basic. "

"Fantastisk hotel med værelserne fordelt på 3 viktorianske bygninger i den historiske del af Eureka. Alt individuelt indrettet, og smagfuldt (amerikansk stil!). Det allerbedste er dog restauranten, som har fremreagende køkken og en helt overdådig vinkælder og vinshop med over 3500 forskellige valgmuligheder. Veltillavet morgenmad fuldender oplevelsen."

"I have stayed many times at this Red Lion as I have property in the area. The staff are invariably friendly and helpful. Areas that might be addressed that twice now when I take a shower before bed, the hot water is just luke warm. Secondly, the large parking lot often seems littered a bit and open to break-ins. There could also be a lamp on the table that has outlets for computers, etc. "

"Its a nice motel, quiet, clean, pet friendly of course. I used to live over in this area in some apartments behind the small shopping center next to it and I feel its pretty safe. They have cameras installed around the motel though for guests peace of mind. Its got restaurants And Jitter Bean right across the street super convenient.. warm place to stay for a night or 2. Alao the shower handle fell off while turning it one and they were very nice about it and offered a change of room immediately...
