"Property was misrepresented. Was supposed to be 2 bedroom 2 bath handicapped accessible with ramp. They assigned us a one room 2 bed no ramp not handicapped accessible. We called after arrival then the host did not respond to 2 phone calls and a text message. When they finally got back to us they said they were sorry they assigned the wrong cabin to us. I asked for full refund called VRBO and asked for help with this. Now Verbo wants us to fight for our refund instead of just taking care of it."

"The home was just as advertised, beautiful and clean! It’s a slightly older home that has been renovated but still a great stay for the price. Not a lot to do in Metropolis but we were in Paducah the majority of our time here. Very easy drive. There is construction on the bridge from Illinois to Kentucky so keep that in mind if traveling at heavy traffic times."

Easy set up, full kitchen, clean. The home fragrance is overpowering for my preference, you may love it. Now all my belongings smell like a laundry mat, how fitting.Ideal spot to explore the area and hike.Fish on the river or watch the ships go by."
