At check in everything was ready, exactly as described, clean and comfortable with nice beds. Kitchen has all the basic needs. There are food options within walking distance. The area felt comfortable and safe. Our balcony view was really pretty. There was construction going on at the next building over, kind of a bummer due to the noise level, but it was quiet inside the room. We loved the shutters for privacy. A few times some of the teens/college kids were being loud late at night but eventually they quieted down. We had an odd meeting with a security guard that identified herself as Gail. We were on the beach and she approached us to let us know she was security for our property and immediately offered to take pics of our teens. Kind of an odd experience. The beach itself is glorious, the softest sand and beautiful water. Our only complaint ended up being the blonde that was running Sammy’s rentals. We learned she was running a side hustle, rounding up chairs for people that rented umbrellas and tipped extra. She was observed every morning taking chairs even though they were supposed to be first come, first served, for guests. She set them up for large groups that paid extra, in massive circles taking up a lot of the beach space. Someone complained and the property mgr came out and made her move things. I don’t see this changing long term, so I’d recommend bringing your own chairs, even though there are supposed to be enough chairs for each unit to have 6.
