"The stay was fine, but I never got a response from the host prior to arrival and then when I arrive they didn't have me registered. I almost had to go to another hotel, but I got a friend to call the hosts phone number and they finally resolved the miscommunication. Very stressful"

"Close to historic center. Nice small apartment with kitchen. If you're not used to Cuenca, be prepared for cold nights and no hotel has heaters. Unfortunately there was a couple of smoke detectors that kept beeping all night throughout the hotel. They do offer an included friendly breakfast at a nearby hotel restaurant. "

"This is an excellent authentic Quito apartment. Offering plenty of space including kitchen it is well located for a stay in Quito. The rooms are clean and its charm really is its traditional feel. However what adds to the excellence is the attention to detail of the Moreno family - they are brilliant. Their aim is to ensure you have a brilliant stay and will do all they can to help this to happen - organise taxis, recommend restaurants, help you with trip planning - you ask and they will do all...
