"Det var et meget smukt sted både ude og inde. Pragtfuld stor og velholdt have med masser af blomster og forskellige træer. Dejlig stor swimmingpool med en flot udsigt, bordtennis og bocchia. De tre søstre,der havde stedet, kunne mange sprog, elskede dyr, var meget tjenstvillige, humoristiske, intelligente. Vi fik en meget alsidig og lækker morgenmad i hyggelige omgivelser."

"Amazing scenery. Believe all the pictures. Saw porcupines, wild boars with offspring and the town Castellina in Chiante is absolutely charming. We drove to Tuscany only to find we already had the same gorgeous vistas from the villa. Serena's cooking is simply legendary. Far better than any restaurant. Her zucchini flowers were a huge hit. Thanks again Serena. We were lucky enough to have her cook for us 3 nights! You do need GPS and patience on the last bit of road."

"Very nice little hotel with few rooms. Very friendly staff in hotel, restaurant and bar/cafe. Solitary and quite surrondings with view to the mountings. Access to a big pool area. We had a little garden included to our room. Italian style hotel. "

"Truly remarkable experience in an 800 year old castle. The grounds are beautiful and include olive trees on the farm. Great views. Quaint experience with the owners who run the castle as a bed and breakfast. Our suite easily accommodated our family of five. We are grateful for the intimate breakfast the following morning. Auch das Frühstück ist zu empfehlen- eine tolle Auswahl an lokaler Speisen nach dem Motto so viel wie möglich, so wenig wie möglich. Aber wenn man etwas benötigt, kann man jederzeit danach fragen. In einer Welt wo alles im Überfluss vorhanden ist, finde ich das sehr gut! Auch die Weintour ist zu empfehlen. "

"Mooi omgeving, fenomenale uitzichten. We sliepen in de Tiziano, mooi ruime kamer (gezin met 3). Lekker basis ontbijt, personeel was ook heel behulpzaam. Dicht bij Siena… Enige minpunten: Was de belachelijk meerprijs 50€ per nacht voor een mobiele plooibed waar je eigenlijk geen kind meer van 12 jaar kan laten inslapen. Door een storm/onweer is alles weggewaaid en vuil geworden , alles werd netjes opgeruimd. Behalve het zwembad zat vol met slijk/bladeren en daar hebben we 2 dagen moeten in...

Visitors (esp Americans) should know the owners speak little to no English, so come with your google translate or try and learn a little Italian prior. One major thing I learned in Italy is the importance of communicating your arrival plan with your host prior to arrival as many establishments are family owned and operated. "There is a big gap between what appears on the website and the reality, getting to the room is very difficult. (Requires traveling by car on an unpaved road) The living conditions are not comfortable at all. Very small shower. There are no air conditioners in the rooms. Dark and unlit rooms. "The apartment is very spacious with lots of antiques and has a home from home feel. It is about a 20 min walk into town, uphill in places but straight forward. Parking is tight so bring a small car 😊. The views across to the old town are great and the balcony space a plus."

"My wife and I loved our stay! The property is historic and has so much character. Our room had a view of the Il Campo square which was fantastic. The location can't be beat. The communication with the property prior to check was great. There were complimentary snacks and drinks available in the lobby. I highly recommend staying here!"
