Your room is in pre-fabricated units. It features big glass windows that open up wide to enjoy your outdoor surroundings, but also close up with complete privacy. "Really nice stay that is quite close to the bamboo forest entrance. The owner ran the front desk and was so sweet. She left a heartfelt personalized card in our roommwith two perfect origami. The room was really great - she made us aware that there are limited views because of the location, but ymwe could still see the Arashkima forest from our balcony.
Nespresso in the room (huge plus!), high quality green tea with a beautiful tea set, and great japanese amenities."

"This was exactly what we wanted. We got the traditional Japanese experience in Kyoto. The transit was a small walk through a quiet and safe neighborhood. They had a restaurant that we ate at and a nice traditional Japanese breakfast. The small beds on the floor were a surprise to us all how comfortable they were. Loved this experience!"

The location was great as it was a very short walk to the park, Kyoto aquarium and train museum. It was also right beside the station which is just one stop away from Kyoto station. There is also a combini within the hotel so I never needed to leave the hotel to get something from a combini.

It was hard to find dining at night because some restaurants close early and you have to cross bridge to search for other restaurants. Too many gnats flying around. Gnats were also in the rooms. "Vi fik ved ankomst tildelt et værelse, der lugtede af røg, og vi anmodede derfor om at skifte værelse. Vi blev hevet til side ved udtjekning og bedt om at betale for morgenmad, til trods for at vi kun havde fået morgenmad 1 gang, som skulle betales med kort/kontant da det ikke kunne charges til værelset! Vi kunne fremvise trukket beløb på banken.
Vi skulle vente i 20 minutter og fremvise bankkvittering x flere!
Desuden er der kun 5 vaskemaskiner til 9 etagers hotelgæster, som er optaget konstant. Man skal stille sig i kø for at få en maskine."
