Additionally many places accepting pets restrict it to dogs and we have a house cat who we had to bring. Most areas had nothing left, for a short weekend break or prices were into the thousands. However we struck lucky in finding Doal's Farm. Owner Paul was fantastic in his speedy responses, confirming availability, acceptance of cats and fitting in with some personal restrictions we placed on...

"We stayed for a week in February and didn’t want to leave. The Cottage is a home away from home and has everything we needed and much more. The kitchen had everything needed for us to cook each day. The log burner was a special treat. Great WiFi and TV, very comfortable bed and nice and warm central heating. Neil and Sharon were fantastic hosts and we really enjoyed their advice and friendly chats! Can’t wait to return!"

"Honestly one of the best places I’ve stayed in. We wanted a simple cottage that accommodates a dog & was quiet and relaxing. Swallow Cottage is unbelievable! The cottage itself is so warm & cosy, the hospitality was incredible & there’s even a dog paddock section at the rear for the dog to run around in. The host is absolutely lovely & you can tell a lot of care & attention has gone into this cottage. The location of the cottage is roughly 20 mins from Harrogate & 20 mins from Knaresborough....
