My husband and I had a beautiful and comfortable room with a balcony and a sea view, which was lovely! We loved the balcony and the refilled water filter (very sustainable!).
Our kids had the room with no balcony. Their bed was very hard but the hotel added a top duvet/thin mattress on top to make it more comfortable.
Hotel location was great too, walking distance to Sai Kung village, the beach, kayak rental and outline island...

"We really enjoyed our stay at Hyatt Sha Tin. Polite staff took good care of us. Stayed at 13th floor and loved the view of the water and mountains. Quiet room.

If I need to say one negative that would be the toilet cover there doesn’t enable soft have soft closure so every time you will need more efforts to close avoid noise or broken!"

"The staff was generally helpful, but the capacity of the internet was very poor. No lamps at the bed and no closets in the room. The location on top of a wet market is special--charming but of course a wet market also has its downsides. The nearby Electric Road is more charming and interesting than King's Road."

The rooms were really small.
I upgraded to a Twin bed that night and it was typical HK hostel. bathroom had no towels.

Pool not open, restaurant open only for breakfast. Very inattentive staff NOT what you expect if a 5 star hotel. . No key card needed to enter the different floors. Night manager sleeping upon check out spent 10 minutes waking him up…."

"Stayed for 5 nights. Frontdesk service poor, she spend an hour checking us in. We had booked 2 rooms, and she did not know what she was doing. We had asked for rooms next to each other, and where told, that they could do that, but when we got our rooms, the where not next to each other. We where there during the typhoon on july 20 th of this year. There was no comunication to us, of what to do, or where we might go to get water or something to eat. Everything else was closed due to safety reasons, we get that, but as hotel with a lot of guests, you might let them know you are there to help, or/and answer their questions. There was no service provided of any kind during the typhoon. We where left to ourselves."

Now my room was a great disappointment, it was so laud being just behind the elevator sharft at the top Floor. Almost imposaible to Sleep and work up really early. Left the hotel being very tired. "
