"This is the cleanest property I've ever stayed at. The location was perfect and in walking distance of everything. Being right on the beach was awesome. Sunsets were amazing. Staff were friendly and attentive. The pool was huge and literally 81 degrees and great for laps. I will for sure be back!!"

"We had to leave and stay at a different hotel due to the unsanitary conditions at Whitehall Cottages. The bed had dirt and hair on the sheets and all around the mattress. There’s no staff on the property and the owner didn’t respond back until later in the evening after we were already checked in to a different hotel. When I asked for a refund I was told he couldn’t do it because we booked through Expedia…"

"This place was disgusting! I should have known something was amiss when the total price was $180 for two nights. The lobby smelled horrible, the room was bleh, the shower had flaking paint, stains everywhere, the towels were stained! You can honestly spare a couple extra dollars and literally go ANYWHERE ELSE and get a better night stay. Oh and there is no security, I hear someone screaming for help so god knows what was happening with that. Oh, and if you like the sound of smoke detectors...

I would have rated it higher, but we could not get the electronic door lock to work from the outside. I contacted the management company for help, but they did not help. So, we packed everything back in our car when we left for dinner because we didn't want to leave it all in the unlocked room while we were gone.
