"Excellent location for visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon NP. The host was attentive, the room was perfect with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and place settings for 2. I just hope the toilet paper was chosen for the septic system and not because they wanted that brand. I am glad I arrived in the daylight, the short dirt road in would be tricky in the dark the first time. Dining recommendations were spot on - good food, very friendly service, and close by. I wouldn't hesitate to book here...

"This is a country home, pure and simple- it’s an hour away from groceries and there’s stuff in the yard. But that’s the magic of this place…quiet, surrounded by nature (including Forest Service- and National parkland, bright stars, and a great place to throw a log in the stove and hang. The kitchen is well equipped (induction stove if you’re bringing an extra large pot for example), and the host was responsive and friendly. We’d definitely stay there again."

"Very cute cabin located close to the national parks. Looks to be recently renovated and nicely decorated and is a nice place to stay. Very clean place and super comfortable king size bed and a spacious bathroom and shower.Some friendly suggestions…There is no oven but in the photos for the listing there appears to be a convection oven on the counter but it has been replaced with a microwave. It would be nice to have both as some things can’t be done with a microwave like baking our breakfast...

Didn’t use the fire pit or the fireplace. Bring your own wood or logs for fireplace. The firepit is gas.The propane grill worked very well. "The Finegold Nugget provided delightful, well-appointed accomodations (more than expected, with the assortment of dishes and flatware also provided). Beautiful room and beautiful grounds. We had a very relaxing weekend, which was the goal! If I had any complaint, it might be that the mini-fridge in the room was more mini than I was expecting. We filled it up! And as a suggestion, possibly get some mini ice trays to put in the freezer so the guests could have ice available if they wished. ...
