"Overall we had a really good stay and would stay again. The only issues we had were about some of the amenities. The pool table was one of the reasons we picked this house over others but it was unusable. A cheap table, poorly put together and not level at all. It was impossible to play a game. "We absolutely loved this place. The cabin itself is very cute and the setting is beautiful and relaxing. There are train tracks nearby and our young son absolutely LOVED watching the trains from the front window. After seeing the back area and the river itself I really wish I had brought my fishing gear. We will most definitely be back!"

"Stayed at the Zen Den while visiting the Shasta/Redding area. Centrally located to a lot of sightseeing activities, grocery and restaurants. The gardens are lovely! Unfortunately due to the mosquitos we were not able to enjoy the fire pit or the tub. The inside is clean and has all needs to a comfortable stay. The shower is a bit small, but made do. "Property was spacious and as advertised. Pool was a swamp and uncovered. We were not planning on swimming but this was a potential hazard for our young children. Kids got hot tub folliculitis because hot tub was not very clean. "Went to visit my son who attends Chico state. Place was cute. Kitchen very small and old appliances but I didn’t plan any meals there. Bed was very comfortable. First night was a little chilly and there weee no extra blankets. I reached out and was brought a blanket that day. I would recommend to the owners to have more than one coffee cup, maybe a throw blanket in the living room and supply more than two towels in the bathroom.
