one comfortable night
we stayed for one night only and arrived late. the receptionist wasn't the most welcoming but the room was great, clean and spacious. overall we had a nice stay.

Nice, new and friendly staff
Very nice and newly renovated hotel. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Location is central, but on the main street and not in the pedestrian area. Noice is though not a problem. Breakfast I ok. Mark: there is no elevator, but the staff is helpfull with luggage. Mark: air is perfumed.

Ótima estadia em Setúbal
Este hotel foi uma excelente opção em Setúbal. Ótima localização. Atendimento nota 10, principalmente na recepção. Pessoal atencioso nas informações sobre a cidade e a região. Ambiente muito bonito, com arte espalhada por todos os ambientes. Quarto confortável. Café da manhã muito bom.

Really nice hotel, great staff
Cozy and quiet hotel with clean rooms and tasteful décor. Breakfast selection was great. The staff was very helpful and friendly. There's no elevator but the other positives more than make up for it. Would not hesitate to choose it again.

This hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the city, within easy walking distance to some of the more popular attractions, restaurants, shops, and the ocean! The staff are among the most courteous, helpful, and friendliest we've ever encountered. Special thanks to Sebastian, Ana, and Patricia for looking after us and offering their respective expertise and suggestions, and who made us feel part of their family! The premise is very quaint and comfortable, the room is more than adequate for two people and includes the basic amenities, bar-fridge, safe, TV, a typical "continental" breakfast, and a stocked coffee machine in the room! Although listed as a 3-Star, the service received and the condition of the recently refreshed interiors, left us feeling it is definitely worthy of a higher rating . . . If you're planning a visit to Setubal, the Rio Art Hotel is a must consideration for your stay.

A very nice hotel with best location
We stayed two nights at this very nice hotel. We had a spacious and nice premium corner room. Location is perfect in the city, with only a couple of minutes by foot to the shopping streets and the food hall. Everyone working in the hotel is very nice and helpful, could not take care of the clients in a better way. Parking is easy, it´s possible to park just outside the hotel. However there you can pay for up to only 2 hrs during the day. A few blocks away there is a long term parking, where you park 24 hrs for only 3 Euro, very easy. Breakfast is ok, nothing special, but you find everything you need. We would definitely stay here again.

The staff is friendly and helpful. Location is central to shopping and close to the boardwalk by the ocean. One suggestion: please install a couple of hooks in the bathroom to hang up the bathrobe and towel. I enjoyed this quiet little town, Setubal, which I discovered for the first time. Thank you Rio Art staff for making my stay so enjoyable.

The artwork in the common areas and room was beautiful. The front desk staff were extraordinary!! Extremely helpful and thoughtful. They printed out a bike route and train route for us. Amazing people! Comfortable bed. Area close to restaurants.

5 Star and beyond!!
Rio Art Hotel is an outstanding hotel. The staff goes well beyond 5 star service. So attentive to every detail .I am gluten free and they had my gluten free breakfast ready when I arrived. The decor, cleanliness and location were perfect. Can’t wait to go back next year.

Excellent stay
This place did not disappoint. From check in, with a lovely welcome drink and a very knowledgeable staffer, to check out. Our room was larger than expected and it was cooler than expected so the extra blanket was a nice touch. The morning breakfast had a nice variety of offerings and coffee could be consumed at breakfast or with an in room machine. The front staff were always welcoming and suggested several places to eat and visit that did not miss. The location is great - provides the ability to walk along the water, easily visit the market or historical area, or walk up to Bonfim Park.

Das über 120 Jahre alte Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet, schon dadurch fühlt man sich wohl aufgehoben.

This hotel is a walking distance to the ferry boat ( can take car) that crosses into Troia and from there to comporta and other places

This was a beautiful hotel newly renovated in a century-old building. Lovely breakfast included. My only downfall was no elevator to ease the load of carrying luggage up two floors of stairs.

Estadia por 1 noite
Excelente instalações, serviço impecável. Recebemos uma taça de vinho moscatel de Setubal no check in, e inclusive prepararam o café da manhã mais cedo para nós, pois saímos às 5 da manhã! Tem estacionamento próximo com preço baixo, e a noite na frente não é pago. Ótimo local, próximo a restaurantes. Recomendo!!

Super endroit, personnel d’une gentillesse extrême. le seul point négatif c’est que les chambres sont mal isolées et du coup nous entendons les voitures et les voisins.

Very chic artsy hotel. Comfortable with friendly staff. Clean and a great breakfast buffet to start your day. Walking around the narrow streets was also a very nice experience. I’d recommend this hotel and would return if I travel this way again.
