"The Cottage is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, the host Jan has thought of everything. The private area outside and the pool are fab, pretty garden with lots of flower's and shrubs to attract the birds. Jan sent us useful information on booking and then more on check in which helped us decide how we would spend our time, he gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants and vineyards to visit. There were lots of lovely little touches each day it was definitely a 5 star...
"Amazing stay and amazing staff at Avondrood. Our room was fabulous and well appointed. The included breakfast was great, and it was nice to have a bar on site for an evening drink.
Avondrood is well located in beautiful Franschhoek and an easy to walk to restaurants and shops. My wife and I walked in the evening to restaurants in town and felt safe walking back at night. "Et virkelig dejligt sted med 750 m til hovedgaden. Servicen var ikke helt i top. Fik ikke skiftet kopper og kaffe blev ikke suppleret op første dag. Ingen vin mv i minibaren. Ikke noget tilbud om at kunne få vin eller andet ved poolen. Ikke nogen egentlig hjælp at få. De var søde nok ved servering af morgenmad, men det var alt."
