Feriehuse i Selfoss

"Overnattede en nat i en beskidt hytte. I spaet var der efterladenskaber fra tidligere brugere. Risten i bruseren var stoppet. Det var i hvert fald ikke gjort rent i en længere periode. Poolområdet var slidt og ikke mindst beskidt. Omklædningsfaciliteterne var beskidte, og der var megen skimmelsvamp. Der er restaurant på stedet. Maden er simpelthen ikke stedet værdigt. Frosne pizzaer der serveres efter en times ventetid selvom vi kun var to hold i restauranten. Der er ikke styr på køkkenet...

"Property felt new and modern. Furnished tastefully and well designed. It felt like a high end experience and the facilities were excellently maintained, or potentially brand new. It was honestly hard to tell since it was overall just a really nice stay. My wife's theory is that they are called the Puffin Houses because they are painted to look like abstract puffins with the orange beak and black body."

"The fotos doesn't match reality. Many fotos show a completely different room with a TV and leather sofas and a big modern bathroom. That is not what you get The cottage is very small. We could barely fit our luggage and 4 people. The shower is old and worn. The pictures of the small room also does not match reality. It looks quite nice and modern in the fotos, but most af the interior is old and worn. The bed was extremely soft and the sheets and linnen were old, stiff and worn. Neither the bed...

"Cottage is located close to commercial/industrial area and a golf course. Nice view. Stayed there for one night, 4 persons (3 adults and a teenager), which worked quite well. There's a grocery story, pharmacy, manned gas station and Thai restaurant/take out place within a couple of kilometers. Clean, new, well-kept cottage, but not super large - it worked really well for a one night stay and could have worked for a night or two more, but not for a longer stay.
