"Hotellet er en blanding af pub og hotel, som man ser meget af i England og ligger fint i forhold til de to banegårde i byen. WIfi fungerede ikke 100% perfekt og man skal være opmærksom på, at morgenmad ikke er inkluderet i prisen. Og at toilettet skal skylles ud på en bestemt måde, hvor man nærmest rykker hurtigt ned en fire-fem gange efter hinanden. Da jeg var der, var der en del vejarbejde om aftenen, men det skal hotellet ikke lastes for. Fin service fra værtsparret, da jeg havde glemt min...

"Booked a mid-week night away, our first stay here. Delighted with what we found: - good sized room (but would be good to have a socket or 2 by the bed). Clean and comfortable. Welcoming staff & owner. Good menu selection for our evening meal there. Right next to harbour and our room had sea views. Amazing breakfast - so much choice and loads. Even a residents car park. Would go back again."

"Very friendly staff, exceptionally clean,cozy and modern room. Nice fluffy towels and soft bed sheets. Lovely and quiet. Breakfast doesn’t start until 10:00 which was inconvenient as we like to get an early start. Watch yourself on the driveway, it’s very uneven. "

"Two night stay on a business trip so not looking for anything fancy, just a comfortable place for the nights. Nice old pub, good size room with large bath/shower and the usual tv, kettle, etc. Restaurant was a surprise - interesting menu, reasonably priced and really good food. Not the usual pub microwave fare but well cooked fresh food which I thoroughly enjoyed."

"Overall we enjoyed our stay but there was a few things that took the edge off a perfect break. The shower in the en-suite bedroom leaked through the kitchen ceiling so we couldn’t use it which meant that nine of us had to use the one other shower! The French door/window in the lounge was difficult to open & close and the rain came in at the bottom right side and the carpet got wet and we couldn’t open the bi fold doors in the dining area. The cutlery wasn’t very clean so we had to wash it all...
