"We chose this place as a last minute one night stay. That being the case it was OK. It had almost equal points on the OK and Good side. On the good side, our room looked to be recently renovated. The paint, fixtures, bed, etc all seemed to have been done recently. There were however a few things that were missing, There was an ironing board but no iron, no hair dryer though it was mentioned as an amenity, and a light bulb was missing from the vanity light fixture. "Booked thru Expedia at right under $200/2 nights. Check-in-went very smooth. The first room was dirty & this type of neglect is on purpose; to allow anyone but a cleaner to enter it, was offensive. There were spiders in the bathtub, questionable stains on pillow cases, walls, and curtains, dirt/dust gathered throughout. The beds were very much soiled, can’t remember if they had mattress covers. "This unit is newly and nicely refurbished. It is peaceful and quiet with beautiful surroundings. The hosts thought of everything to supply guests with items they might need, including bowls laid out for my dog. Everything is labeled and directions provided for using amenities."

"We had a lovely time staying at the church. We rented it for 2 nights and extended it to 3. Beth was wonderful with communications and the place was better than could be imagined.We were in route to AR for bike riding when our truck camper broke down. After finding out it needed major repairs, we needed to adjust our plans to riding in IA or IL. We stumbled upon the little church on VRBO and couldn't have been more pleased.
