Sorry you did not have the experience you expected, while staying at my home. The neighbor next door fosters pets from time to time. She must have a new pet she is fostering short terms when you were there. I am sorry about the barking dog. Thank you for bringing to my attention your concerns about the condition of my home. I will pass the information on to the cleaning company, so they can be corrected immediately. If you had notified me, I would have had the problem addressed at once. We have pest control service once a quarter. With the weather turning cooler, it is not unusual to see a few insects coming in seeking a warmer environment. There are two entrances into the home, if the stairs from the carport did not work for you, you could have used the 5 or 6 steps on the water side of the home. The online pictures show a galley kitchen along with pictures of each room. After reviewing the pictures of the rooms online, they do not look larger than they are represented in the pictures. The pictures also show the amount of light coming into each room. I have not noticed warped floors, have no idea where that might be. However, I will have it checked out. Thank you for bringing these issues to my attention, so I can continue striving for future renters to have the best experience possible.

Tammy, I am sorry you found my property in disappointing condition. Thank you for letting me know the issues so they can be addressed. 1. During this time of year, the leaves can be blown out from under the carport and driveway and 30 minutes later be back. It Will be this way until all the surrounding trees drop there leaves. 2. I have owned the cabin since 2002 and have never seen a snake in the yard. Several have been shot in the water, but never in the yard. Sorry y'all had to experience one. However, the cabin is on water and we have no control over where snakes go when they come out of the water. 3. There was not mold on the exterior siding. This is algae that grows on the north side of homes that do not receive sun light. It has to be pressure washed off every few years. 4. The dock is blocked with a fence and gate. We have to wait on the core of engineers to approve the repair or replacement before any work can be started. Everyone goes to the spillway to fish, that is only about 3 minutes away. 5. The housekeeper is a professional house cleaner and we have had many positive comments about the interior being clean and nice. I can't explain the condition of the refrigerator. I do know she cleans out any thing left in it after each rental and wipes the refrigerator out. 6. I sent an appliance repairment to check the stove and he could not find anything wrong with it. 7. The grill is only a couple years old. I have someone going to check it out and see what is wrong with it. If need be, it will be replaced. 8. The housekeeper said she leaves extra towels in the cabin in the hallway upstairs and many are left on the bottom of the cabinet in the downstairs bath. You should have called and this issue could have been taken care of over the phone. Usually there are 10 or 12 towels left out of guest to use. We provide a washer and dryer along with detergent so guest can wash and dry them as needed. We have several dozen towels in the owners closet that you could have had access to. Reminder, it is a lake house in a fishing community and has been updated over the last 4 or 5 years. So sorry it did not meet your expectations. Thank you for mentioning the screens on the porch. I will have a contractor take a look at them and do the necessary repair. Did not know there was a problem with them. As for Mobility accessible, I guess that depends on the phone carrier you use. We have Verizon and have not had a problem. If it were a problem you could have used WIFI calling on your phone settings and that should have solved the problem. Thank you for staying at our property and glad you had wonderful weekend.

Eddie, I believe the repairman came out to service the sump pump and your group were the ones that had unplugged the pump that pumps the rain water into the lake. That is probably the reason water from all the heavy rains got into the parking area. These is not a garage. Someone parked in an area they were not suppose to park in and left deep tire tracks in the yard. With grass and weed just now starting to grow, the yard guy must not have gotten there to take care of the yard. I was not aware of that. As for the sign "AycockHair Cabin" that is the owners names. We are not ashame of our names. Sorry it offended you. After owning this property for 22 years, you are the first person to be offended by our names.

Don, Thank you for your review. We did not know about the catch basin under the sink that you had to empty. I just called a plumber to come out and take care of that problem. The boat is for personal use only. We are not renting it out. The marina has pontoon boats to rent if you needed one. As I let you know, after you informed me about the dryer, the dryer repairman is coming out today or tomorrow to repair the broken drum belt on the dryer. We could not get him out over the weekend. So sorry you had the problem with the sink and dryer. Under Amenities then Entertainment it states a Smart TV in the Den. We didn't realize the other tv's were still showing up in the listing. Renters kept taking or losing the remotes so we removed the other tv's except for the old one in the armoire.
