"We arrive late, after the last ferry got in, so we were told to go to an empty room at the top of the steps. What a thrill, staying at Hicks! The open air concept is amazing. Sleeping with just a mosquito net over us, in the open air, was a delight."

"Hotel is quite secluded and you would need a car to go to Fajardo city. Room was very clean, but the hotel in general looked like it had seen better days. Food options not very good. Did not seem to be fresh made and seemed like they did not use local produce, eg the fruits in the breakfast restaurant. Also a bit overpriced compared to quality. In general our impression is that it is overpriced according to the standard. Biggest plus about hotel was the friendly staff."

"We had a wonderful stay! The interior was beautiful and very welcoming, and the room had all the essential amenities, all very clean and well maintained. The front patio with a beach view created such happy, relaxing vibes, and the service throughout our stay was excellent. The two days we spent here left an everlasting impression. We especially appreciated the cute kitchen and utensils, TV/internet, and the beach chairs—such thoughtful touches. Would absolutely love to stay here again."
