"Before my trip I couldn't find out if Pestana Tropico or Oasis Atlantico was the best hotel in Praia, so I booked two nights on both. Now I am not in doubt - Pestana Tropico is the best! Only on location is it a bit inferior to Oasis Atlantico, bujt that is more then compensated for by the very service minded staff and the great restaurant. "Spent three nights here. A little distance from Plato but short walking distance to the local beach with restaurants. Rented a car for a day and the fental company is just around the corner - very convenient. Internet was extremely slow in the room"

"I liked the people in the reception and the other staff for their servicemindedness. They tried to find tours and some were pretty good with english or french. Next time I will use it again and highly recoommend it to my friends. You feel good at this former family owned hostel now upgraded to hotel and I understand why other peple liked it. Lars Denmark"

"Before my trip I couldn't find out if Pestana Tropico or Oasis Atlantico was the best hotel in Praia, so I booked two nights on both. Now I am not in doubt - Pestana Tropico is the best! Only on location is it a bit inferior to Oasis Atlantico, bujt that is more then compensated for by the very service minded staff and the great restaurant. The pool area on Pestana Tropico is also much nicer than the one at Oasis Atlantico. When you book, try if you can get room 256, which is absolutely the best. Otherwise 252 or 254."
