Above the Sea is a great place to be. A dreamy coastal retreat awaits in the Old Florida Cottages 0.25 miles south of 30A. This enchanting 3-story cottage exudes a light and airy ambience embracing you with soothing coastal tones.

Step inside to the first floor. Hooks and storage for wet gear, towels, etc. are conveniently located in the entryway.

Bedroom 1 has a queen and twin and the bathroom is just across the hall. The master bedroom is just down the hall and boasts a King bed and spacious living area with a desk and private balcony. The en-suite bath includes dual vanities, a soaking tub and separate shower.

The back yard is fenced on 2 sides and a the perfect spot for dogs. Please remember to pick up after your pets for the next family. There are dog stations for animal waste as you walk the neighborhood.

The second floor offers the kitchen and main living space. There are two balconies on this level. One off the living area and the second is a private balcony for the bedroom on this floor. The private balcony faces the neighborhood pool which is heated in spring and fall.

The second balcony is off the living room and offers a grill and seating. A shady retreat overlooking the backyard.

Moving to the 3rd floor you will find the loft/ bunk room. This space is a favorite for the kids with the TV and futon they have plenty of room to spread out and game or just take a break from the sun. Just off this room is our largest balcony featuring sunset views and ocean breezes. We have several peek a boo ocean views, however facing west we have an unobstructed view of the water. From here you can relax and wind down. Enjoy sunsets or family dinners while you relax.

All bedrooms have smart TVs including the Loft.

We do have a security camera on the property. It only monitor the front door Cameras are only checked on check in and check out day. We also check the camera to assure the cleaning crew arrives and departs in a timely fashion.

The Old Florida Cottages community is tucked away off a beach end street, located between Blue Mountain beach and Gulf Place. An easy walk to the sugar sand beach, with no major roads to cross. The cottages wrap around a large seasonally heated community pool and grilling area with covered pavilion and bathrooms. The location is ideal for retail therapy, with countless sidewalk boutiques, large shopping outlets, grocery stores, and open-air markets just minutes from the neighborhood. Antique shops, ice cream parlors, and other fun activities will keep everyone in the family busy and entertained.

Gulf view heights is a public beach access offering Seasonal Lifeguards, Restrooms, Parking and a Beach Conditions Flag.

Old Florida Village is perfectly situated, with Grayton Beach boasting a new underwater museum, Seaside, Seacrest and Rosemary Beach just minutes away to the East. Located in an upscale area of Hwy 30A, this pristine house is perched in between Destin and Seaside. Just a 13-minute drive to Grand Boulevard Town Center with over 35 shops and restaurant as well as the all-new state-of-the-art Boulevard 10 Movie Theater. Bike down to Blue Mountain Creamery for a cone or meander along the miles of trails!

NOTE: Regarding gas grill. We have 2 gas tanks and try to make sure the tanks are full on your arrival. However if tank is empty you can exchange for a full at these locations.

ATTENTION: We only have TWO parking spots. Yo may be towed for street parking or parking in other driveways. There is room to park a golf cart on the north edge of drive and electrical for charging the golf cart. Golf Carts can be rented at the corner store as well.
