We completely loved our time in Huatulco! It’s a beautiful town with a nkind and welcoming community. The condo is directly on the beach making easy to go swimming multiple times a day, sit on the beach under an umbrella and drink limonadas and eat guacamole! The location is perfect for anyone with mobility issues. There is an elevator in the condo and there are many restaurants and shops with flat, well maintained sidewalks. The park 1/2 a block away has a market on Saturday’s that is fun and convenient to get some organic produce and a variety of items. There a three banks within a couple blocks with ATM’s to get pesos. There is an amphitheater you can see from the balcony where various local events occur. If you want to be close to everything and experience the local culture- this is a perfect location. Also, the immigration office is just down the beach- a 5 minute walk - if you are applying for residency. The condo is comfortable and clean, with a full kitchen, washer and dryer, AC, and fantastic views of the beach, sunrise and Pacific. There are nights when the music on the beach goes all night. It’s mostly families having fun with music and laughter. I didn’t experience a single situation with fighting, violence, angry voices or children throwing fits near the condo nor in town. There are taxis close by at all times and they are inexpensive. It’s easy to go shopping, snorkeling at Playa Entrega, or dining in town. Google Translate really helps with communication.
