Villaer i Santa María Colotepec

"The stay wasn’t as good as expected. The transfer didn’t pick us up at the airport. The room was noisy from the neighbours, there was a bad smell in the room, the toilet was leaking and the whole hotel could use a rebuild. Especially the shower was very poor! Pool area is fine, but pool is a bit dirty. The breakfast is ok, but a little expensive compared to other options around Puerto Escondidio - where many beach clubs are better quality at a lower price. When we were heading home and asked for a taxi at the reception, they told us to pick one up in the street.. not the kind of service I expect"

"We had a wonderful stay at Raíz! The rooms are small but super cozy and nicely decorated, the hotel doesn’t have many rooms and feels very familiar. The staff was excellent in service and helping us with tours. We regretted that we didn’t stay longer. (Based on another review, we fully searched the room/mattress for bed bugs. We couldn’t find any and didn’t get any bites or similar during our stay)"
