If you need local insights and super hospitality then go with Jason. The location is in a quiet local neighbourhood and it feels safe to have kids running around outside. "This property was everything we expected. The in-house chef with breakfast every morning was amazing. It was such a treat! She stays in her own place and you don't even notice she's there but she appears with a wonderful breakfast at your preferred time. We even paid extra for her to make dinner the night we arrived which was absolutely delicious. The ocean view here has spoiled me. You can also see it from 3 of the bedrooms. The only thing we wished for was access to the beach from this...

"We had a great stay at this property. Very private, and a short drive to Playa Junquillal (which we loved). Beatrice was a wonderful host and responsive to any questions we had. Directions to the house were clear and accurate. Kitchen had everything we needed. Three AC units all functioned well. The outdoor shower is an amazing feature! Totally different from busy, heavily-touristed areas like Tamarindo. Recommended!"
